Role Summary

In this unique role as the EIR, you will be at the crossroads of sales, B2B growth, fulfillment operations, business, and product. Your primary responsibility is to run end-to-end sales and generate revenue while working closely with salespeople and other team verticals to build and refine our product offerings.


This is not your typical salesperson or just a people-facing role; it requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a keen understanding of how to balance revenue generation with empathising with prospects.


The role will be of someone who contributes to setting up an outbound engine, getting us ramped up to achievable metrics, and work as a relationship builder with leaders at early to growth-stage companies (mainly founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders).


For the first quarter, the goal will be to generate demand and lead closures. From the second quarter onwards, the goal will be to build continue doing the same and build a robust playbook in sales and as needed in other functions.


What you will do

Prospecting and Outreach: Identify, evaluate, and run outreach to prospects who are most likely to benefit from Flexiple’s offering. Leverage tools like Apollo, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, to run a streamlined process and generate interest.


End to end sales: Apply your understanding of the prospect and their goals to create a business case for them to leverage Flexiple’s offering. Be adept at interpreting business/ product needs and turning them into actionable hiring needs.


Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the go-to-person for the customer at Flexiple and a bridge between the fulfilment operations, customer success, and product teams to meet their goals.


Entrepreneurial Leadership: Lead sales initiatives from conception to implementation, demonstrating an ability to think creatively & strategically and build a robust sales playbook which can be followed by salespeople.


You should have

- We prefer those with engineering degrees, those with others can also apply

- 2-6 years of experience working in startups (tangible contribution to sales is needed)

- Demonstrated experience working with or selling to founders, VPs, or CXOs, irrespective of geography

- Has dabbled with prospecting and outreach tools (Apollo, Sales Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo) and is open to improving those skills

- A solid understanding of sales and keenness to talk to people

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- An analytical and data-driven mindset


Expectations


Expectations in Week 1

  • Onboard and familiarize yourself with Flexiple's products, services, and company culture.

  • Engage in initial training sessions and understand the sales process and tools in use.

  • Initiate first set of lead outreach and engage in preliminary sales conversations.

  • Review and understand the current pipeline and active accounts.


Expectations in Month 1

  • Build a robust sales pipeline, incorporating strategies and learnings from initial engagements.

  • Collaborate with the founder to refine pitch and sales materials based on feedback.


Expectations till Month 3

  • Achieve initial sales targets and milestones.

  • Establish a consistent lead generation process and continually refine sales strategies.

  • Begin closing deals and ensure smooth transition to account management teams.

  • Start building a playbook so operations can be run smoothly by a salesperson.


Expectations till Month 6

  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.

  • Become an integral part of the growth team, contributing to strategic decisions.

  • Provide feedback and insights from the market to guide product and service improvements.
